It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert J. Blattner of Saint Louis, Missouri, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Blattner and Marian Blattner; his siblings, James Blattner and Barbara Garvey; and his niece Sheila Blattner.

He is survived by: his brother John Blattner; his children, David Blattner, Katy Woehr (Kirk) and Emily Kingston (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Lillian Seithel, Addison Woehr, Lucy Kingston and Emma Kingston.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
