He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward DeHart (Ed) and Laneva DeHart (Moore); and his son Michael Edward DeHart. He is survived by: his son David Edward DeHart; his grandchildren, Leah R DeHart (Micheal DeHart), Ghini L DeHart and Anthony E DeHart Hampton (David); and his sister Shirley DeHart of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his eldest son Michael Edward DeHart, during the Covid pandemic of August 2021.
