He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Howard of Alzheimer's Association; and his father Bob (Helen). He is survived by: his children, Sharon Degnan, Ron Howard (Diana), Steve Howard (Darlene), David Howard (Caroline), Janet Linhardt (Dave) and Joe Howard (Teri). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
