He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton "Tex" Irwin and Helen Irwin; his former wife Nancy Elizabeth; his children, Cindy Lyn Mayberry and Brian Elton Irwin; and his brother Elton Ray Irwin.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jane Irwin of St. Louis; his children, Russell Stuart Irwin (Elizabeth) of Mo, Diane Helena Irwin of Mo and Joan Evonne Renth (Neal); his daughter-in-law Sherri Feeney; and his stepsons, Ken Oettle (Teri) of Texas, Dennis Oettle (Deborah) of Texas and Randall Oettle (Danielle) of Mo. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
