He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schifko and Mary Schifko (Kollinger); and his brothers, Frank Schifko and John Schifko. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Vessels); his children, Barbara Schifko of St. Louis, Patricia Ferguson (Christopher) of St. Louis and James Schifko (Sam) of Toledo, OH; and his grandchildren, Christine, Angie, Julie, Michelle, Tim, Andy, Nicole, Alexander and Allison. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
