With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E Mendelson of Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 22, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Mendelson and Hazel Mendelson (Osteryoung); his sister Phyllis; and his daughter Linda. He is survived by: his son Jim Mendelson (Amy); his grandchildren, Scott, Alex, Elizabeth and Madison Van Stone; his great grandchildren, Eric Christner (Kim Dunbar), Kitsy Sheahan (Marty), Kelly Christner and Erin Runnels (Jim); Bobby, Christopher Sheahan, Molly Carew (Tedd), Collin Christner (Lilia), Kaellin Fazio (Dominic), Tyler Christner, Audrey Christner, Avery Runnels, Trinity Christner, Palmer Runnels, Cooper Carew, Peter Christner and Margaret Fazio.
A Veterans Day "Spin" honoring Bobby, and all the Veterans who have served, was held on November 14, 2025, at Tru Fusion in Clayton where Bobby taught spinning – outside – in the old Famous Barr parking lot during the Pandemic.
