He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lause and Rita Lause (Greminger); his brother Dwayne Lause; and his parents-in-law, Gene and Norma Jean Gerard.
He is survived by: his wife Cecilia; his siblings, Gilbert Lause (Sue) and LeeLonie Basler (Donnie); his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Stock (Kathy), Paula Stoverink (Dan), Beth Gibson (Dave), Maria Batten (Roger), Ted Gerard and John Gerard (Connie); and his godchildren, Ted Basler, Elliot Batten, Ryan Sehnert, Wil, Lana, Meredith, Jack and Addie Gerard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
