She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Gannaway; her sister Philippina McAdams; and her parents, Frank Dohrmann and Philippina Dohrmann. She is survived by: her daughters, Terry Burbridge (Tom) and Pam Follen (Dale); her grandchildren, Nate Burbridge (Angie), Jay Burbridge (Carolyn), Don Follen (Tiffany) and Liz Follen (Zack Schwartz); and her great grandchildren, Turner, Fiona, Sullivan, Nora and Hunter. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, their extended families, and dear friends.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the St. Peter's U.C.C.'s Food Bank or Alzheimer's Association, both causes close to Ruth's heart as she dedicated her life to helping others.
