He was predeceased by: his daughter Jodi Goone (Neal); his brothers, Martin Cotlar (late Sally) and Harvey Cotlar (Barbara); his siblings-in-law, Julie Margraf and David Portnoy (Regina); and his parents, Harry Cotlar and Blanche Cotlar.
He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Cotlar; his son Michael Cotlar (late Ron Nelson); his grandchildren, Bradley Cotlar, Andrew Cotlar (David Gomez), Alyson Dieker (Joseph), Marc Goone (Liz), Joey Goone (Stephanie) and Melissa Goone (Joe Wojcik); his great grandchildren, Mattix, Easton, Taylor, Brianna Cotlar, Tommy, Louie Dieker, William and Sage Goone; and his brother-in-law Robert Portnoy (Lisa).
