He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schwing and Lillian Schwing; his son Carl Schwing; and his sister Janette Marxkors. He is survived by: his wife Alice Cartwright-Schwing; his son Todd Schwing; his daughter-in-law Brenda Schwing-Triplette; his stepchildren, Steven Cartwright (Terry) and Sheri Haas (Ed); and his sister Mary Trimmer (Ron). He is also survived by grandchildren, eleven (11) great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Stan to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or to The Alzheimer's Association.
