She is survived by: her husband Jerry Carter, Sr.; her brother Keith Hunter (Rebecca); her stepchildren, Jerry Carter, Jr., Juanita Pettiford (Jerome), John H. Carter (Amber) and Jeremiah Carter; her nieces, Denise Watt (Johnathan), Pamela Jones-East (Stewart) and Donielle Hunter; and her nephew Keith Hunter, II (Elissa). She is also survived by grandchildren and many great nieces and nephews.
