He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Kaye Birkett (Foster); his sister Cathy Nordgaarden Loving (Dale); his children, Alex Birkett, Shelly Traylor (Eric) and Cathy Barnett; his grandchildren, Sarah Traylor-Robinson (Sam), Joshua Barnett and Emma Barnett Dear; his nieces and nephews, Shaun Nordgaarden (Gail) and Cari Chandler (Matt); and his close friend Kaye. He was also cherished by numerous great nieces, nephews and loving extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or the Salvation Army.
