He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Mitchell and Charles Mitchell; and his sister Charlene Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Mitchell; his child Eletta Cole; his grandchildren, Shinika Stone (Christopher Stone), Glenisha Foreman (Adolphus Foreman III), Lashawn Jordan Cole, Jaquan Thibo, Corinna Lenoir, Milton Lenoir III and Jada Lenoir; and his siblings, Ollie Mae Smith, James Mitchell, Willie Dean Alexander (Kardell Alexander), Mae Carylon Brady (Tommy Brady) and Shirly Mitchell-Gillenwater (Harold Gillenwater). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the A. L. Beal Mortuary (4746 W Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO 63115). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the New Bethlehem Cemetery (9650 Bellefontaine Rd, St. Louis, MO 63137).
