He was predeceased by: his brother Frederick Scott; his son Frederick Blaydes; and his wife Elizabeth Scott. He is survived by: his children, Eric, Brandon Scott of East St and Samantha Alexander; his brothers, Robert Maurice Scott (Ora) of East St and Terry Scott (Shawna) of St. Louis, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Farrah, Kyla Blaydes, Arkeya Clinton and Tanesha McNair.
