As we bid adieu to Walter Farrell's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Walter Farrell has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Moody and Luther Moody; and his sisters, Barbara Moody and Carol Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Cassidy Moody (Sara), Mackenzie Morrison (Brandon) and Delaney Moody; and his sister Janet Moody. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Port Room at the Pavilion.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Walter's memory to Greater St. Louis Area Scouting or Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri—organizations that were meaningful to him through his children and grandchildren's involvement.
