With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Marion Mead of Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Mead and E. Janice Mead; and his brother Randall C. Mead. He is survived by: his wife Josie; his children, Chris (Beth Mead), Stacey (Dave Loomis), Stephen (Katie Mead), Vinny (Araceli Mead), Sean (Brittany Mead) and Sam (Jackie Mead); and his grandchildren, Connor, Casey Mead, Veronica Mathis, Harry, Johnny Loomis, Ryan Frick, Payton Mead, Rosemary, Lourdes Mead, Isaac Mead, Sonny, Elias, Billie and River Mead.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Walter's memory.
