He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Warren Ashley Bowersox and Lorene Ringler; and his grandparents, William B. Ittner, Sr., Bill Bowersox and Ittner.
He is survived by: his sister Anne Bowersox Hornberger; his children, Cathrine Bowersox Karpowich, William Ashley Bowersox, Jr. and Susan Bowersox VanMeter; his grandchildren, Mary Cathrine Karpowich (Catie), Seth Micah VanMeter, Jr. and Aidan Thomas VanMeter; and his niece Rebecca Olsen Keeler.
In 1985, Bill Bowersox was elevated to Fellowship in the American Institute of Architects for notable contributions to the advancement of the profession of architecture in design.
