He is survived by: his wife Jorje Quinn; his sons, Chris Buchanan (Lori) and Sean Buchanan (Courtney Sommesi); his grandchildren, Connor and Leigh Buchanan; and his brother George Buchanan (Chris). He is also survived by many sisters-in-laws and brothers- and sisters-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Bill's honor be made to the Mercy Health Foundation, specifically designated to support the Mercy Wound Care team under the direction of Dr. Julie Weber. Contributions can be made online or mailed to the Mercy Health Foundation.
