He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Gail Carter Gurley; his parents, Coleman Harold Gurley and Virginia Louise Sanger; his brother Robert Coleman Gurley; and his sister-in-law Kathryn Gurley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn Gurley Nall (Scott), Melanie Gurley Keeney (Tim) and Melissa Gurley Bancks (Eric); and his grandchildren, Rebecca Nall (Brandon), Courtney Nall, Ryan Keeney, Andrew Keeney, Mitchell Bancks and Annalise Bancks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
