He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Tucker and Edith Shea Tucker; and his siblings, Ellen, Cathie, Peter, Ted and Tom.
He is survived by: his friend Armella Geier; his children, Mary (Charles), John (Teri), Sara (Peter) and Elizabeth (Ben); his grandchildren, Dan, Adam, Erin, Jamie, Laura, Charles and John; and his wife Patricia Cadigan.
He made a donation of his body to the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
