He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Massey Gilbert and Patricia Bailey Gilbert. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Gilbert, Ann Randazzo and Jane Gilbert; his wife Loura Miller Gilbert; his children, Will Gilbert (Whitney) and Catherine Hamacher (Patrick); and his grandson Owen Massey Hamacher.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Bill's honor to one of the organizations he held fondly.
