It is with sadness that the passing of Geraldine Elizabeth Cornett of Saint Martins, Missouri is shared. Geraldine, born on February 1, 1945, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Rustemeyer and Frances Rustemeyer (Schulte); her husband Harold Dwayne Cornett; and her siblings, Stanley, John, Bernard Rustemeyer, Margaret Brendel and Mary Melcher.
She is survived by: her children, Sam Cornett (Tonna) and Francie Balke (Stan) of Mary's Home; her grandchildren, Nick Snyder, Amanda Snyder, Dalton Tolbert, Garrett Tolbert and Jacob Balke; her great grandchildren, Kat Balke, Ash Balke, Felix Balke, Grayson Tolbert, Nora Tolbert and Amelia Tolbert; her sister Joann Prenger; and her sisters-in-law, Catherine Rustemeyer, JoAnn Rustemeyer and Mary Rustemeyer.
A prayer will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City (3210 N 10 Mile Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65109). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martin Catholic Church (7148 St Martins Blvd, Jefferson City, MO 65109).
