We announce the death of Sharen Gettinger of Saint Mary, Missouri, who passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 79. Sharen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Otte and Anna Otte (Grither); and her brother David Otte. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Gettinger; her children, Robert Gettinger (Rhonda Byington), Michael Gettinger (Deborah Peters), Christopher Gettinger (Katie), Maria Rottler (Wade), Rose Kreitler (Jonathan) and Jonathan Gettinger (Jenn); her siblings, Michael Otte (Janet Cox), Dennis Otte, Tina Jokerst (Nick) and Trish Busby (Bill); her sister-in-law Jean Otte; her grandchildren, Samantha (Cody), Cory, Dennis, Mallory, Josef, Maia, Ashton, Jacob, Camden, Waylon, Caroline and Noah; and her great grandchildren, Isla and Julie.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Guardian Angels of Sacred Heart Church.
