He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyal Stern and Dorothy Stern; his son James Stern; and his sister Valerie Fredrick. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Stern; his great grandchildren, Burley Stern, Kimberly Pecoraro (Tim), Brianna Stern, Jimmy Stern, Cara Sudbrock (Brandon), Shelby Pecoraro, Matthew Pecoraro, Finley Sudbrock and Quinn Sudbrock; his siblings, Loyal Stern (Rose), Roy Stern (Denise), Darlene Devoto (late Butch) and Cleo Stern; and his brother-in-law Kenny Fredrick. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
