He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bramstedt and Nonie Bramstedt; his son Eric Bramstedt; his grandson Matthew Klaus; and his siblings, Raymond Bramstedt and Linda Sue Houston.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Vicky Klaus (Ron) and Dori Wyatt (Kevin); his grandchildren, Sarah Larocco (Nick), Dan Klaus, Hannah Glisson (Trey), Andrew Klaus, Erik Wyatt, Evan Wyatt and Eli Wyatt; his great grandchildren, Layton Larocco and Charlie Glisson; and his brother Leonard Bramstedt (Frankie). He is also survived by three children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
