She was predeceased by: her spouse Jerry Sturgeon; and her parents, Emery Ray and Viola Ray. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Downes (Kevin); her grandchildren, John Downes (Abby) and Ashley Downes (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Hudson and Rory Downes.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1355 Motherhead Rd, Cottleville, MO 63304). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Caroline's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
