He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Young and Leonard Young; and his brother Richard Young. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rumbaugh Young (Sherry); his daughters, Laura Shimel and Heather Wylie; his sons-in-law, Bruce Shimel and Michael Wylie; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wylie, Andrew Shimel, Nicholas Wylie, Benjamin Shimel and Christopher Jacob Shimel; and his sister Virginia Rasmussen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
