He is survived by: his wife Kelly McKinney; his children, Lauren McKinney Anderson, Andrew McKinney and Scott McKinney; his stepson Jeremy Patty (Mindi); his sister Carol McKinney; his grandchildren, Audrey Anderson, Addisyn Brown (Brayden), Alivia Patty and L. J. Patty; his great grandchildren, Brooks Brown and Eloise Brown; his pet Rook; and his father Melvin McKinney.
