He was predeceased by: his wife Denise; his parents, Donald S. Funderburk and Orpha W. Briggs; his stepfather Archer Briggs; his brothers, Duane Briggs (Maggie) and Myrl Briggs (Linda); his brother-in-law Bob Panico (Sheryl); and his daughters-in-law, Robin Caldwell Funderburk and Judith "Judy" McPipkin Funderburk.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Funderburk, Daniel Funderburk (Stacy) and Kimberly Montgomery (Kent); his grandchildren, Christopher Funderburk, Samuel Funderburk (Laurel), Mikayla Siebert (Seth), Annika David, Matthew Montgomery and Sebastian Montgomery; his great grandchild Jaime Funderburk; his sister Sheryl Panico (Bob); and his sister-in-law Linda Briggs (Myrl). He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as family members friends.
