He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bastean and Frieda Bastean; his brother Brian; and his brother-in-law Buddy Brock. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine; his daughters, Karen Elizabeth Bastean, Melissa "Mimi" Phillips (Steve) and Cindy Hembrock (Craig); his grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Magdalene and Benjamin; and his siblings, David (Marilyn), Ray (Linda), Richard, Patricia Schultz (Robert), Mary Pisarkiewicz (Joe) and Bernadette Brock. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
