She is survived by: her children, Derek Lay (Megan), Jon Lay (Rachel), Donna Foppe and Kimberly "Jill" Brandsma (Doug); her grandchildren, Kendyl Lay, Korrinne Lay, Joshua Lay, Jonah Lay, Joel Lay, Timothy Brandsma, Aimee Brandsma, Elliott Brandsma, Vanessa Ross and Stephanie Foppe; and her siblings, Marie Van Gelder, Anthony Hoekman, Ruth Bomgaars, Martin Hoekman and Linda Woldengen.
