She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Kirby and Timothy Kirby; and her daughters, Margaret "Maggie" Essen and Collen Phillips. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Vitale, Steve Vitale, II and Mike McGee; her grandchildren, Katie Coker, Steven "Sonny" Vitale, III, Mia Vitale and Luca Vitale; her sister Jane Pierce; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Zwilling. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (5239 W Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO 63115).
