He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Wells and Colleen Wells; his brother Doug Wells (Paula); and his sons, Jerry Wells Jr. and David Wamhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Fonda Wells; his child Stacey Korte (Robert); his granddaughters, Callie Korte, Kayla Korte and Danielle Wamhoff; and his brother Randy Wells (Cheryl).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
