He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Bushong and Clara Bushong. He is survived by: his wife Fern Bushong; his son Joshua Bushong; his brother Barry Bushong (Linde); and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Myers (Jerry) and Vivian Upchurch.
