With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Purcell Sr. in Saint Peters, Missouri, who passed away on July 7, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Anthony Purcell and Mary Margaret; his brother Frank Purcell (Cheryl); and his wife Grace Elizabeth Murphy. He is survived by: his children, John Jr. (Mary) and Elizabeth Sutherland (Ryan); his grandchildren, Nicholas, John III, Mary Grace, Mark, James and Emma; and his siblings, Bernard (late Rose), Thomas (Virginia), Mary Ucinski (late Michael) and Elizabeth McClay (Steven). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
