He is survived by: his brothers, Gene Brittain, Bill Brittain and Ed Brittain; his stepchildren, Mike Murphy and Tanya Cross; and his grandchildren, Colyn Murphy, Kallie Murphy, Briley Halleman, Kaden Cross and Jaycee Cross. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
