With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen E. Allen (Saint Peters, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Karen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Lawrence Burgess, Jr. and Jacqueline Yvonne Burgess. She is survived by: her husband Ricky Allen; and her sisters, Lynn Barnett (Rick) and Sue Kavanaugh (Tim). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
Karen's contributions to her field, her unwavering compassion for both humans and animals, and her spirited personality will be remembered fondly by all whose lives she touched.
