He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schaefer and Doris Schaefer. He is survived by: his wife Meta Schaefer; his children, Monica Boschert (Bryan) of West Alton, Missouri and Marcus Schaefer of St. Charles, Missouri; his grandchildren, Trent Boschert and Paige Galentine (Charlie); and his siblings, Danny Allen (Brenda), Steve Schaefer (Beth), Devin Schaefer (Joyce) and Tammy Johnson.
