She was predeceased by: her former husband Rev Charles L. Freed; her husband Frederick Hinz; her parents, Ruben A. Gephart and Ida H. Gephart; her siblings, Bernice Leonard, Gertrude Laszcwski and George Gephart; and her daughter Dianne Lynne Freed.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Kathy Henkin, Mary Steinke, Carolyn Bernot and Barbara Swetmann; her grandchildren, Jason Freed, Tammy Kozinski (David), Austin, Mason Kozinski, Emily, Brooke and Caleb Freed; and her son David Lee Freed (Betty).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baue Funeral Home - Cave Springs (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Harvester Church of the Nazarene - St. Peters (3115 McClay Rd, St Peters, MO 63376).
