She was predeceased by: her former husband Richard C. Smith; her husband Robert E Young (Bob); her parents, Elsie Farley and William Farley; her siblings, Ralph Farley, Dorothy Miner, Carl Farley, Clinton Farley, Gary Farley and Larry Farley; her children, Jill Gesell and David Young; and her grandson Jamie Young.
She is survived by: her brother Dale W. Farley (Joi); her daughters, Linda Gant (Gary), Patsy Chailland (Craig), Mary Hovis and Cindy Brinkmann (Paul); and her grandchildren, Tom Gant (Stacie), Spring Johnson, Angie Seats (Joshua), Mandie Hampton, Ryan Bock Destiny Blegen (Kimmi), Crystal Hovis, Duane Gesell (Ashley), Damon Gesell, Emily Martinez, Greg Young (Cheryl), Nathan Brinkmann (Kate) and Megan Bryant (Chad). She is also survived by 40 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Charles Memorial Gardens (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301).
