She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Arnold Trelz; and her parents, Kerttu Liukko and Matti Liukko. She is survived by: her children, Eric Trelz (Therese), Mark Trelz (Heidi) and Dawn Sheri Iborg (late Kenneth); her grandchildren, Katherine Bruce (Chris), Thomas Iborg, Frederick Trelz (Abigail), Nicholas Trelz (Jessica), Madeline Shelton (Elijah), Harrison Trelz (Jacqueline) and Martin Trelz; her great grandchildren, Alexander Bruce and Jordan Bruce; her brothers, Paavo Liukko (Monique) and Jorma Liukko (Jacqueline); her nieces and nephews, Gillyan, Erin, Richard, Garth, Michael and Matti; and her brother Ray Liukko (Jean).
She used her talents to uplift others, working for the charity Friends of Moms at Chapel of the Cross—an endeavor that reflected her compassionate nature.
