She was predeceased by: her husband William E. Votaw; and her parents, David and Clara Risk. She is survived by: her children, Julie Bahr (Mark), Tim Votaw (Mary Jo) and David Votaw (Roxanne); her grandchildren, Paul Votaw (Ashley), Clare Kreitzman (Jordan), John Votaw (Monica), Luke Votaw, Dillon Votaw, Shannon Votaw (Tim Morrison), Erin Simpkins (Brendan), Ian Votaw, Will Bahr (Madyson Northcutt) and Stephanie Hoffman (Chuck); and her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Emma, Daniel, Mina, Lorelei, Daisy, Conner, Sterling, Roguen and Onyx. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations to Lottie Moon imb.org which is the missionary fund that Marty has always been passionate about or to Suncrest Hospice for their compassionate care during Marty's final days.
