Mary left this world on May 25, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Lynn Hammett; her son Ronald Hammett; and her mother Elpha Meranda. She is survived by: her children, Robert Hammett, Roger Hammett and Marilyn Igou; her great grandchildren, Charlie, Cheyenne, Hunter and Mackenzie; and her siblings, Clarence, Joe Meranda, Alice Fermann and Mildred Graves. She is also survived by family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
