She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Nolting and Mildred Nolting (Buttron); and her sister Charlotte Gigstad. She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Scholz; her sons, Jason Scholz (Briana), Jared Scholz (Leslie) and Matthew Scholz (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Wyatt, Eleanor and Isabel; and her brother Melvin Nolting (Emily). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials are suggested to St. Matthews Lutheran Church.
