Walter Albert Stopke Sr. Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Walter Albert Stopke Sr. of Saint Peters, Missouri. Walter, born on January 29, 1944, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Carole Stopke; his children, Walter Stopke Jr. and Karen Heimann (Paul); and his grandchildren, Jon Heimann (Kassi), Tim Heimann (Megan), Jamie Hatfield (Justin), Erin Stopke, Nick Heimann (Destiny) and Kasie Stopke. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baue Funeral Home - Cave Springs (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the St. Charles Memorial Gardens (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301).
