He is survived by: his wife Crystal Harris; his children, Kayce Mead of The Colony, Stormy Crescini of Greenville, Courtnie Neely (John) of Paradise, Texas, John Harris Jr. (Rebecca) of Mahomet, Brian Stayton (Heather) of Whitesboro and Duane Gale (Kristin) of Poolville, Texas; and his siblings, Star Beverlie of Portland, Cheryl Sparkman of Portland, Texas and Rick Wilson (Mary) of Dudley, Massachusetts. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
