He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy E. Webb (Vineyard); his son Ted Coalter; his parents, Chester Webb and Ruby Webb (Parmer); and his brothers, Bill Webb, Harold Webb and Donald Webb.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry M. Coalter (Sandy), Robert W. Coalter (Sandra) and Toni A. Kercher (Craig); his daughter-in-law Debbie Coalter; and his grandchildren, Laura Parker (Chad), Jason Coalter (Leslie), Jeremy Coalter (Samantha), Amanda Coalter (Brad Franklin), Robert Coalter Jr. (Joyce), Michael Coalter (Chrissy), Claire Clark (Logan) and Nathan Kercher (Sophie). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Basler Funeral Home (685 Center Dr, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
