He is survived by: his wife Deborah Donovan; his children, Angela Smith (Donya) and John Donovan (Laura); his siblings, Benita Gibson (Tom), Barbara Erkul (Jeff), Joseph Donovan, Jr. (Vickie), Mike Donovan (Charlotte) and Mary Hogenmiller (Mike); his grandchildren, Antwon, Thylan, Darrien, Ian and Kaylynn; and his great grandchildren, Azariah, Ameliah and Rosaliah.
