He was predeceased by : his parents, James R. Donovan and Betty E. Donovan; his sister Janet M. Meyer; and his mother-in-law Georgia Carron. He is survived by : his wife Sandra Donovan (Carron) of Sainte Genevieve, MO; his siblings, Robert Donovan (Colleen) of Sainte Genevieve, MO and Carol Bollinger (Edwin) of Sainte Genevieve, MO; his daughters, Casey Baker (Mark) of Glen Allen, VA and Kimberly Rapp (Kenneth) of Bloomsdale, MO; his grandchildren, Tristan Rapp, Luke Baker, Grady Rapp, Max Baker and Margot Rapp; and his brother-in-law Felix Meyer.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Valle Spring Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (600 Market St, Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670).
