He was predeceased by: his wife Betty L. Macklin (Gibson); his son Toney R. Macklin; his parents, Coy Jasper Macklin and Sarah Louise Macklin (Farlow); his grandson Johnny Macklin; and his great grandchild Gaige Peery.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Macklin, David E. Macklin (Connie) and Lisa Johnson (Scooter); his siblings, Alice Hicks (Kenny), Martin Finnly Macklin (Elaine), Norma Sullivan (Roger) and Larry Macklin (Carol); and his grandchildren, Josh Johnson, Brittani Johnson, Emily Johnson, Kyle Macklin, Anthony Macklin, Sarah Macklin, David Gerstenschlager and Jennifer Michel.
Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, MOMemorials can be made to your Charity of ChoiceRoy worked at Truck Transport for several years.
